Who are the voices of America?

Our voices are rich and varied. Asian American, Latino American, African American, Native American, Anglo American ...authors of color have many voices and faces. Their writing represents the history, culture, conflicts and dynamic nature of America.

Seattle's Rainbow Bookfest
is the first organized effort in the United States to bring authors of color together under one roof. The goals are to provide a venue for them to share and interact with each, and to entertain readers from both mainstream and minority communities by providing diverse perspectives and rich cultural experiencies.

Interested in Joining Us?

If you are a Northwest author of color or know of someone who wants to participate in the Seattle Rainbow Bookfest, contact Carmen Flores Palomera, Rainbow Bookfest director.

Keynote Speaker
